The Theology of the Body Congress last week was a huge success! I don’t mean that just for Thirsting for Truth, either, but for everyone involved. According to Dr. Greg Popcak’s blog, “Over 700 people from 12 countries and 40 states attended the Congress. They represented 50 dioceses in the United States and 60 individual ministries and apostolates. The total also included more than 120 priests, religious and seminarians” and I had the blessing and opportunity to present Thirsting for Truth to everyone there.

Bishop Jean Lafitte (who is the secretary of the Pontifical Council for the Family) and his assistant traveled all the way from Rome and watched the video of our story! I gave him a copy of each CD and he gave Dianne, myself and Thirsting for Truth a special blessing to help us continue to carry out our mission!
Even though Dianne couldn’t make it in person (because she is super pregnant) she was still there in spirit and two-dimensional form.

It was a very fun, very spiritually nourishing event. We had Mass each day and met some of the greatest people from all over. You can bet we’ll be there again next year!
