In recent years, Catholic ministries have become very sophisticated. Many organizations have been successful in bringing teens and adults into, or back to, the Catholic Church. However, there is a great gap in successful ministry between the teen and adult years.
The Young Adult community continues to be the most under-served age group in the Church. The tragedy is that this is usually the age where our faith and integrity is most tested. The first year of college, the start of a new career, or the start of a marriage is filled with new challenges. Unfortunately, most young adults are not prepared and/or do not continue to receive preparation to deal with these sort of challenges. As a result, it is at this age that many young people leave the Church and make some of their biggest mistakes.
We saw a great need for a powerful Young Adult organization that could go to war against the culture to win back the souls of our Young Adults. Now, after a year of very rapid development, Thirsting for Truth is ready to enter the fight…
